Scam Alert Notification

CEFCU has been made aware of a telephone scam that is circulating throughout the country. Targeted consumers are receiving an automated message identifiying themselves as Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union. The phone call continues to note that there is possible fraud attempts on your account and requests that the consumer punch in their
full 16-digit card number.

Please do NOT provide any personal information over the phone. CEFCU will NOT ask for information in this manner. Should we suspect fraud on your account, you will receive a call from a live person and they will not ask for your full card number or PIN.

If you are unsure if any message you receive is legitimate (email, phone call or text message), please contact our Electronic Services Department immediately for verification.
